I painted this jewel right after the World Trade Center got hit. I finished the piece on September 13, 2001. All in all, 7 years later, my message is the same, let us never forget. It still breaks my heart. When you are in a bad mood, or worked up because gas is expensive, or feeling sorry for yourself, just remember you are still alive and can change your situation. You probably have friends and family that love you and care about you. When I say, let us never forget, I don't entirely mean about what happened on September 11th 2001, but, just in general, don't forget about all the beautiful things in your life.

Truth Crystalizes
Each grain speaks of tiny thoughts,
through time waves wash out the lines.
Winds blow dunes as hills of hope, and children build new castle shrines.
My mind; my friend, my album, remembers, dreams, ponders and teaches.
Do I trust it's word, does it really know, clear truth that crystalizes on the beaches
Trusting love with the family puppy, turns to loss in the darker days of teens.
Connections broken, promises, and honor lost, the light grows dim in greedy surreal scenes.
Someday we wake to fields of promises, age yearns to connect and the spirit reaches.
Do I trust the journey and its stormy tide, clear truth that crystalizes on the beaches.
