KEEN Los Angeles Benefit

On the smokey evening of November 15, 2008, a crowd of beautiful and generous folks gathered on the roof top of TenTen Wilshire to help raise awareness and funds for KEEN Los Angeles. Slade Smiley was the Master of ceremonies. Due to the fires that day, Los Angeles Deputy Mayor, Miriam Long was unable to attend, as planned. April Holme, US Paralympian gave a touching speech. Executive Director of KEEN USA, Linda Platt, presented Steve Velkei, LA Board President, and all around good guy with a thank you gift. I did a live painting, which was auctioned. The whole night would not have been possible without the support of Steve Velkei, Lucy Mardonovich and Jhamal Robinson.
